Premios Emmy 2012

No me hubiese sorprendido que ganase 'Juego de tronos' como mejor drama, pero creo que estaba más cantado que ganaría 'Homeland'. A los americanos, cuando les da por una serie, todos los premios van a ella. Hace un tiempo fue 'Mad Men', y ahora ha aparecido ésta. Igual pasa con la comedia. Cuando compite 'Modern Family', el resto de candidaturas ya no tienen posibilidades. Ni, '30 Rock' que era la que se lo llevaba todo. Vamos, 'Mad Men' era al drama lo que '30 Rock' a la comedia. Pero ahora no hay ni 'Breaking Bad(s)' ni 'Dexter(s)' que puedan con los agentes de 'Homeland', ni 'New Girl(s)' ni 'Big Bang theory(s)' que puedan con la gran familia que arrasa. 

Hablando de 'Modern Family', llama la atención ver la lista de candidatos al Emmy al Mejor Actor secundario de Comedia. Cuatro de los seis que optaban, son de Modern Family, vamos, todos los chicos adultos de la serie. Y en la parte femenina, también están las dos chicas de la serie, pero al ser menos no destaca tanto. Eso sí, los dos premios han ido para alguno de ellos.  

Sin duda, 'Homeland' y 'Modern Family' han sido las grandes triunfadoras, pero a otras series también les ha salpicado algún premio, como a 'Breaking Bad', 'Veep', 'Dos hombres y medio' o Downton Abbey'. Y por mucho que se haya hablado de series como 'American Horror Story' (premio para Jessica Lange como secundaria de miniserie) o 'Juego de Tronos', no se han llevado ninguno de los premios principales. Tampoco ha habido ningún premio "de despedida" para ninguna de las series de éxito que han concluido este año como 'Mujeres Desesperadas', 'House', 'Weeds' o 'Entourage'.
